Welcome to the Buckeye Rug Hooking Guild
The purpose of the Guild is to develop and promote interest in rug hooking. We strive to maintain high standards and encourage creativity in this art form and other related fiber art forms. We work to provide the means for an exchange of ideas and information among the members of the Guild and to promote educational activities to enhance the interest in and the quality of rug hooking.
Our mission is achieved through a variety of programs. The Guild annually offers workshops for its members featuring nationally known rug hooking teachers. The Guild often performs demonstrations throughout the state. For example, the Guild regularly provides demonstration booths at the Winterfair Craft Shows in Columubus and Cincinnati and at the Ohio State Fair.
